Can't say how I feel about this one until I see the starting line-up.

Obiang has to play for mine to give us enough of the ball in midfield.
Reckon a lot of our recent problems against Everton have been because we haven't had a threat or any quality going forward.
Players like Coleman can get forward and the ball usually ends up with bloody Lukaku on its way to the net.

Noticed against Chelsea that Payet pushed more to the left to put pressure on the centre back Zouma trying to be a right back.
Think we will do the same today and make Coleman attempt to defend.
Have a feeling Everton are obviously coming to win given their recent record and may be in for a surprise. Need to put pressure on their defence as I am not convinced by it.

Cheers charley.

I hope we can nick a win. Carroll & Zarate starting I would think. Jelavic to come on later.

Apparently they are using a 19yr old at LB due to injuries so I'd like to see us try to exploit that and is the only reason I'd prefer Jenkinson at RB instead of Tomkins as he might be able to get a few crosses past the lad.

At least Everton will try to come at us so it will give us chances to break.

COME ON YOU IRONSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Everton are the last of our bogey teams we need to overcome this season. Will be a nice change but they always get one over us :-(

Agree that midfield is key especially without Sakho giving an outlet with his running. Do we persist with Moses who can open teams up but does not work very hard when not in possession. Obiang in front of the back four might be worth a try as Everton throw a lot forward and we can perhaps cut off the supply to Lukaku? Or do we take the game to them with an attacking set up and try and outscore them as they have a few defenders missing?

I hope we can stop the poor run of results against them and at least give them a game and put in a good performance but I aint confident. But then I never am :-)

Sunderland had enough chances to score 5
No Jagielka and Stones shat himself every time that ginger winger ran at him.
The two full backs especially Coleman are wingers rather than proper defenders

Think positive.

Sir Alf 3:08 Sat Nov 7
Re: West Ham v Everton - Official Match Thread
I know gph. We usually lose both games against them. This season has been a chage whatever happens against Arsenal, City, Chelsea and Pool :-)

A win against Everton is a rare thing in the league over the years. Hopefully we can get one against them and today ideally :-)
